Bio-Safe Waste Management Systems
Drainage in a hospital is not just about water flow; it is a critical component of Infection Control. A blocked or backing-up drain in an OT or ICU can be catastrophic. SR One Roof Solutions designs complex, segregated drainage networks that ensure hazardous biological and chemical waste is disposed of safely, complying with Pollution Control Board norms.
Segregation & Specialized Piping
We strictly segregate drainage lines to prevent cross-contamination.
- Soil & Waste Lines: Separate lines for infectious waste (toilets) and general waste (sinks).
- Chemical Resistant Piping: For Laboratories and CSSD, we utilize high-grade HDPE or Polypropylene (PP) pipes that resist corrosion from acids, alkalis, and solvents, unlike standard PVC.
- Acoustic (Low-Noise) Pipes: Drainage noise can disturb patient recovery. We install specialized triple-layer silent pipes in patient wards to ensure pin-drop silence.
Sewage & Effluent Treatment (STP / ETP)
Hospitals cannot discharge untreated waste into municipal lines.
We install Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) specifically to treat water from Labs, Laundries, and OTs. This process neutralizes harmful chemicals and pathogens before the water enters the main sewage line.
STP (Sewage Treatment Plant): Our compact, odor-free STP units treat general sewage, recycling the water for gardening and HVAC cooling towers, making your hospital eco-friendly and compliant.
Hygiene & Safety Features
- Rodent Control: Installation of specialized traps and non-return valves to prevent pests from entering the hospital through drain pipes.
- Anti-Siphonage: Advanced venting systems to prevent sewer gases (which carry airborne pathogens) from bubbling back up into sterile hospital zones.
